George Garzone Trio feat. Alex Deutsch & Peter Herbert:
George Garzone Trio feat. Alex Deutsch & Peter Herbert:
Alex Deutsch and Peter Herbert have established one of the longest musical and personal collaborations in Austrian rhythm-sections (since 25 years!!). Having been the backbone of the original Wolfgang Muthspiel Trio in the eighties, they formed plenty of their own groups over thast two decades, never loosing their connection. Among the legendary groups was Pink.Inc feat. Alex, George Garzone and Jamaladeen Tacuma in the early ninties. Peter toured Europe with George Garzone for the first time in 1989 with Wolfgang Muthspiel and Bob Gallotti. A reunion concert on the highest level.
HDV TRIO helbock-dietrich-vogel:
The words creative, open, hip and unique come to mind when I think of David Helbock. I have known and been the teacher of David for more than 5 years and have watched him grow from a talented young pianist into a young man with a remarkable personal voice both as an improviser and a composer. He now brings that strong voice together in musical conversation with bassist Lucas Dietrich and drummer Marc Vogel to form a trio which explores every avenue of musical improvisation. This is a great expansive trio that is full of excitement and surprises at every turn and they don't cease to amaze me with their dedication and hard work in becoming one of the finest groups around. They deserve to be heard by all people interested in creative music far and wide. Don't miss them! They really are great. (Peter Madsen)
