MANIFESTO OF THE NOW ist eine Serie performativer Akte des Widerstands, die für anhaltende Achtsamkeit gegenüber dem Hier und Jetzt stehen. In dieser Darbietung erkunden die Künstlerinnen das Spannungsfeld zwischen Überlebensnotwendigkeit und Handlungsfähigkeit. Mittels entschlossener, aufmerksamer Handlungen und eines performativen Manifests repräsentieren die beiden Frauen die Rückgewinnung der Autorität über Körper und Zeit.

INFLUX - Network for Dance, Theatre & Performance ist ein loses Netzwerk von Künstler*innen aus verschiedenen Disziplinen. Gegründet im Jahr 2017 von Nayana Keshava Bhat und in kontinuierlicher Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Künstler*innen weiterentwickelt, spielt Interdisziplinarität eine Schlüsselrolle in den Aktivitäten. INFLUX arbeitet an der Entwicklung neuer Formate in den Bereichen Performance, künstlerische Forschung, nicht-formales Lernen und fungiert als Plattform für Kunstschaffende, um ihre Kunst untereinander sowie mit einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zu teilen.

MANIFESTO OF THE NOW is a series of performative acts of resistance, standing for persistent attentiveness towards the Here and Now. In this particular extract, the artists explore the negotiation between needs of survival and agency. Through decisive, mindful acts, the two women stand for reclaiming authority over time and body via a performative manifesto.
INFLUX – Network for Dance, Theatre & Performance is a loose network of artists from various disciplines. Founded & sustained since 2017 by Nayana Keshava Bhat in continual collaboration with various artists, interdisciplinarity plays a key role in INFLUX operations. INFLUX works at developing newer formats in performances, artistic research, non-formal learning etc., thereby acting as a framework for artists to share their art with one another and the larger public.
