FLAVOURAMA PERFORMATORY ist ein improvisierter Tanztheaterabend mit Fokus auf dem spontanen Austausch zwischen (Live-)Musik und Tanz. Um auf aktuelle Diskurse und die spürbar wachsende Nachfrage von diversen Festivals und Choreograf*innen – Stile wie Hip Hop, House Dance oder Breaking auch im Bühnenkontext zu zeigen – einzugehen, werden Künstler*innen aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen eingeladen, gemeinsam neue kreative Räume zu eröffnen. Die Künstler*innen nehmen zunächst an den beiden Workshops für Lichttechnik und Dramaturgie teil, um danach in drei interdisziplinären Teams – innerhalb weniger Stunden – ihre improvisierten Kurzstücke zu kreieren. Dem performativen Spielplatz sind keine Grenzen gesetzt und wir sind gespannt auf das Ergebnis des diesjährigen PERFORMATORY!
Artist Talk
Den Aufführungen folgt ein Künstler*innengespräch, das Raum für Reflexion über das Geschehen auf der Bühne bietet, Fragen an die Künstler*innen stellt und diskutiert, wie Street- und Clubkultur in Theaterräumen existieren kann.
Get Together
Um Raum für Reflexion und Gedankenaustausch zu bieten, sorgen lokale DJs für eine entspannte Atmosphäre und runden den Abend in der ARGEkultur ab.

FLAVOURAMA PERFORMATORY is an improvised performance evening with a focus on the spontaneous exchange between (live) music and dance. In response to current discourses and the noticeably growing demand from various festivals and choreographers to showcase styles like Hip Hop, House Dance or Breaking in a stage context, different artists will be invited to open new creative spaces together.
To test the codes of the respective dance and music styles - which were predominantly shaped by marginalized groups in the USA in the early 80s - in a new context, the selected artists will join the two public workshops in Lighting and Dramaturgy. Afterwards, the artists are grouped into three interdisciplinary teams of dancers and musicians/DJs, tasked with creating three improvised short pieces within just a few hours, drawing from their newly gained insights of the workshops alongside their own artistic visions. No limits are set on the performative playground and we are curious to see the outcome of this year's PERFORMATORY!
Artist Talk
The performances will be followed by an artist talk, giving space for reflection of what happened on stage, asking questions to the artists and discussing how Street and Club culture can exist in theatre spaces.
Get Together
To give space for processing, reflecting and exchanging thoughts, local DJs will provide tunes for a relaxed atmosphere, closing off the evening at ARGEkultur.
